Hi, my name is Mandy Chow and I am an Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager at Middlemore Hospital’s Emergency Department.
I was keen to come to Middlemore ED because I did my pre-registration years here and fell in love with the place!
I’ve always been attracted by the critical thinking and the fast pace of work that occurs in the department.
My ED duties are largely focussed around supporting the nursing teams and allocating the right resources for our patients.
My dream for the future is to be the best I can be at my job, and I think I am destined be in the ED for a long time yet.
My message to anyone who thinks they would like to work at Middlemore is go for it! It’s a challenging environment and you’ll learn a ton of new skills.
