Stuff.co.nz 7 April 2016 | Research into wound infections after skin cancer surgery has received a shot in the arm from Counties Manukau Health.

It has launched a $2 million fund to promote research at the district health board. 

Among the first to benefit is plastic surgeon Jon Mathy‚Äč who has been granted $26,000 by the Tupu Fund for his search for new methods of localised antibiotic delivery for skin cancer patients.
