Formerly Counties Manukau Health Adult General Rehabilitation
The Adult General Rehabilitation Service provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for patients living in the Counties Manukau Health region.
Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team, that develops a patient-focused, goal-based treatment programme, based on the individual patient's needs.
The service includes inpatient care on Ward 23, Middlemore Hospital, an outpatient medical and physiotherapy service based at the AT&R Unit of Middlemore Hospital and a community stroke rehabilitation service.
